BIVINS CEMETERY
BIVINS, CASS COUNTY, TEXAS
LOCATION: Seven miles south of Atlanta on Hwy 43. At the
intersection of Hwy 43 & 248 in Bivins turn left at cemetery sign.
Cemetery is .2 miles on the right.
The town of Bivins was named for J. Knox Bivins, who operated a
sawmill here when the town was established.
Cemetery was read 20OCTl995 by Irene Powell, Jane Nunn, Kathryn
McAlexander, Gerald Hammock, Charles Steger & Melba Tims. Reading
was started in the southwest corner reading south to north.
Updated 25-AUG-1998 by Charles Steger & Gerald Hammock.
This cemetery is known to be predominantly white.

CARIKER F. M. 30-NOV-l858 28-JUL-1887
